How many times a day do you walk to your fridge, open it and not find anything satisfying to snack on. Well, I got a satisfying and healthy snack that you’ll want to make time and time again - Chili Garlic Edamame.

The garlicky, salty and spicy flavors will make every savory bite mouth wateringly satisfying. I can seriously eat three bowls of this and never get tired of it. Did I mention how easy it is? Ready in 15 minutes and a better alternative to munching on a bag of chips. Give this addicting recipe a try, I would love to hear your feedback.

CHILI GARLIC EDAMAME

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Frozen Edamame
  • 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tsp garlic chili sauce

Instructions:

  1. Bring a medium pot of water to boil.  Drop the edamame in the boiling water for 2-3 minutes or until the edamame start to float on top of the water.  
  2. Meanwhile in a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and garlic chili sauce.  Set aside.
  3. Pour the edamame into a strainer to drain the water then transfer the edamame into a medium non stick skillet over medium heat.  Pour the soy and garlic chili sauce and combine for 1-2 minutes.  Transfer the sautéed edamame into a medium bowl and enjoy!
