CALIFORNIA CHIC FALL TABLE SETTING

It’s officially fall which means time for family gatherings and hosting (small) get togethers with friends. Dinner parties used to be my favorite thing to do, but since COVID it’s now few and far. Being respectful of health restrictions, I am itching to get back to hosting one or two friends for a small get together to kick off the season! With any good party, you gotta have the right table setting to set the mood.

I call this table setting California Chic. Super simple, yet clean and elegant. The fresh eucalyptus mixed with pussy willow sticks and large white pumpkins scream fall and brighten up the entire table. I accessorized with tall candle sticks that set the mood, mini white pumpkins and pinecones that release a heavenly scent of Christmas.

I wanted to add woodsy tones to this dinner table and I feel this woven charger does just that! And, how gorgeous are these vintage wine goblets and water glasses? It gives this simple table setting something a little extra. I got these plates a while ago, but here is something similar that matches the hammered flatware for a perfect cohesive set. To complete the rustic vibe, I tied these subtle linen napkins with burlap twine and small branches of the eucalyptus and pinecones.
