FRESH CAPRESE SALAD W/PESTO
I love the vibrant colors in this Caprese dish with pesto. The stunning reds and yellows from the heirloom tomatoes, the white from the mozzarella, and greens from the fresh basil leaves with a drizzle of pesto. I topped it with a drizzle of olive oil and Maldon flakey sea salt for a burst of flavor. Let’s not forget, a gorgeous dish deserves to be served on a gorgeous platter.
Wash and cut the heirloom tomatoes in hedges and mozzarella balls into 1/4" slices.
Transfer onto a platter and drizzle with good olive oil, my homemade pesto and sprinkle with Maldon flaky sea salt. Add a few fresh basil leaves and enjoy!
