CAPRESE SALAD Caprese Salad I went to Underwood Family Farms last weekend and hand picked these gorgeous heirloom tomatoes right off the ripe. A simple summer salad that allows the ingredients to shine. Fresh mozzarella with a drizzle of olive oil + balsamic glaze and sprinkling of Maldon flaky salt. It is beautiful and delicious. PrintWith ImageWithout ImageCAPRESE SALADYield: 4Author: Yasmine WahabPrep time: 10 MinTotal time: 10 MinIngredients1 small red, yellow and green heirloom tomatoes, sliced 1-2 large mozzarella balls, sliced1/4 cup cherry heirloom tomatoes, halvedfresh baby basil leaves 1-2 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp balsamic glaze1 tsp Maldon flaky salt InstructionsWash the heirloom tomatoes and slice in 1/4 inch slices. Cut 1/4 slices of the mozzarella as well. Plate them beautifully on a plater or platter. Cut the cherry heirloom tomatoes in half and scatter on the platter. Drizzle with good Olive oil and balsamic glaze. Sprinkle on maldon flakey salt and fresh basil leaves.
