TURKEY LETTUCE WRAPS

Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp veggie oil or canola
- 1/2 yellow onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 inch ginger, finely grated
- 1 lb organic ground turkey
For the sauce:
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes
For the assembly:
- 1 heart of romaine
- 2 tbsp roasted peanuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantros
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the hoisin, sriracha, honey, oyster sauce, soy sauce and chili flakes. Set aside.
- In a medium cast iron, heat 1 tbsp veggie oil on medium heat. Add onions and cook for 2 minutes until translucent. Add the ginger and garlic for 30 seconds then add ground turkey until cooked through. Add the sauce until most of the moisture has evaporated. Meanwhile, cut the end of the romaine heart and separate + wash each romaine leaf. Place them on a flat platter and scoop in the turkey mixture in each leaf. Sprinkle with chopped roasted and salted peanuts and sprigs of cilantro. Enjoy!
